Luke Healy was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. He has an MFA in Cartooning from The Center for Cartoon Studies in Vermont. His comics work has been published in several anthologies and has received several awards. His book How to Survive in the North was named one of the best books of 2016 by Publishers Weekly. He once walked from Mexico to Canada.
