Kay Sohini is a Mellon Foundation and American Council of Learned Societies Dissertation Fellow, and a comics-maker based in New York. She is currently drawing her doctoral dissertation, "Drawing Unbelonging," as a comic at Stony Brook University, where is slated to graduate with a PhD in English in May 2022. Her work uses comics to talk about public health and social inequities and has been published in Graphic Mundi’s Covid Chronicles and Women Write About Comics, among others. She serves on the Executive Committee of the International Comic Arts Forum (ICAF).
