Drawing and art is Hicham’s life passion, his number one love from being a child. Born and bred in the land of the Pharaohs, always doodling and sketching away. Hicham grew up looking up to his father, Mostafa Rahma, a renowned artist in Egypt and the Middle East and one of his biggest influences and mentors.
After gaining a degree in animation with first class honours, he started his career designing book covers for a large publishing house in Cairo. After which he focused his career as a designer and art director on branding, package design, and print illustration for a career spanning 18 years, all while continuing to draw and paint and build a name for his own.
Hicham Was Co-founder of TOKTOK fanzine magazine in Egypt.
Hicham has displayed his artwork in various exhibitions around Cairo, Egypt and hosted his first solo exhibition in 2021 and has been awarded nationally and internationally for his book cover designs and for the satire Egyptian magazine that he co-authored.
