Author: Rob Rogers

Rob Rogers is an award-winning editorial cartoonist living in Pittsburgh. After earning an MFA in painting from Carnegie Mellon University in 1984, Rogers landed an internship at the Pittsburgh Press. Nine years later, Rogers joined the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette where he entertained and infuriated readers for 25 years. In 2018, he was famously fired for drawing unflattering cartoons of Donald Trump. Syndicated by Andrews McMeel, Rogers’ work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, Time, Newsweek and The Week, among others. Rogers served as board president of the ToonSeum in Pittsburgh from 2007 to 2017.
